Common culprits include a dirty air filter, check to make sure you're outdoor unit is working, check the breaker panel to make sure the breaker is on, frozen coils, or low refrigerant levels.Should I replace both the indoor and outdoor units at once?
Generally, yes. Replacing only the indoor or outdoor unit can work. Some manufacturers may not honor a warranty if indoor and outdoor are different ages.Can I do maintenance myself?
While you can change filters and clear debris from the outdoor unit, tasks involving refrigerant, electrical components, or deep cleaning should be left to licensed professionals. Because manufacturers well look for a minimum twice a year maintenance, done by an HVAC licensed professionals to keep honoring your warranty.How often should I service my system?
